Simon Hovakimian

Simon Hovakimian became an associate with McDermott & Clawson in 2011. His knowledge and attention to detail has made him an invaluable part of the team.

Background

Mr. Hovakimian received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles in 2000 and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 2003.

Before joining McDermott & Clawson, Mr. Hovakimian was an associate with Rizio and Nelson in Santa Ana and an associate in training with Kayajanian Law Firm in Newport Beach. He also served as staff counsel for State Compensation Insurance Fund in Glendale from 2006 to 2011.

Mr. Hovakimian is an active member of the California State Bar.

Mr. Hovakimian is an a vid movie and music enthusiast. He also enjoys playing and watching basketball, baseball, football and hockey.
