Kathleen P. Chambers

Kathleen ChambersKathleen P. Chambers is a highly experienced attorney in our Orange office, specializing in innovative approaches to workers’ compensation cases and subrogation. She brings nearly 25 years of legal work and training to bear in solving our clients' problems.

Background

Ms. Chambers received her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Riverside. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 1983 at Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class. During law school, she was on the consulting team for two years and took honors in estate planning.

As a member of the Kentucky bar, Ms. Chambers was a sole practitioner specializing in domestic law and criminal defense. She soon became an experienced litigator, doing jury trials in both state and federal courts. Appellate work further expanded her skills and legal knowledge.

After coming to California in 1987, Ms. Chambers took the California Bar and passed the first time without the benefit of a bar review course. She also took the Workers' Compensation Specialist exam in 1990 and passed but did not have the necessary years of specialty practice to complete the credential at that time.

Over the years, Ms. Chambers has worked for the California law firms Mullen and Filippi, LLP, Gabriel Madsen & Zaks, and Ingber & Ivey doing defense workers’ compensation and subrogation cases.
