Debra L. Harkness

Debra Harkness is an attorney in the Orange office of McDermott & Clawson and has been a dedicated member of our firm since 2003. She joined the practice after gaining valuable experience as a law clerk for several respected firms and the Orange County District Attorneys Office.

Background

Ms. Harkness obtained her undergraduate degree in management science in 1978 from the University of California, San Diego. In 1984, she earned an MBA from California State University Northridge and in 2002 graduated magna cum laude from Whittier Law School. She was admitted to the California Bar the same year.

Ms. Harkness’ professional memberships include the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and volunteering with her church.
